Casablanca will host its inaugural Casablanca Music Week from June 20-29, 2025, at La Casablancaise. Organized by NRJ Maroc, the 10-day urban festival expects over 60,000 attendees for a multidisciplinary event combining music, cinema, gaming, sports and conferences. The festival features seven major concerts with international headliners including Jason Derulo, Gims, Mary J. Blige, Hussain Al Jasmi, Wyclef Jean, and Shaggy. Moroccan artists Hoba Hoba Spirit will represent the local scene alongside Dadju, Tayc, and Rahma Riad. Weekend performances will showcase diverse genres from R&B and hip-hop to Arabic and Moroccan music. The event venue will include outdoor sports activities, gaming competitions, and film screenings in a renovated multipurpose hall at La Casablancaise. A food village featuring twenty restaurants will operate throughout the festival duration. Conference sessions will address event management, entertainment industry futures, and creative industries with Moroccan and international speakers covering new technologies, audience evolution, and creative industry development. NRJ Maroc CEO Hakim Chagraoui described the festival as «a celebration of cultural diversity» and «a bridge between cultures». The festival positions itself as Casablanca's new summer cultural destination, celebrating artistic diversity through comprehensive programming that extends beyond traditional concert formats to include fitness activities, immersive gaming experiences, and intellectual exchanges.
