Spice Girls member Mel B, who held a lavish second wedding celebration in Marrakech, said the three-day celebration in Morocco exceeded her expectations. The 50-year-old singer and 37-year-old hairdresser exchanged vows in an emotional outdoor ceremony earlier in August. Mel B and Rory broke down in happy tears during the ceremony. «It was the most amazing day and was so full of love. It exceeded all our expectations», Mel B told Hello! Magazine. During the Marrakech wedding, she wore a striking red Justin Alexander gown that required six artisans over 850 hours to complete, featuring hand-beaded red crystals and bugle beads, complemented by a Moroccan-inspired cathedral veil. Explaining her dress choice, she said: «As the sun went down, I wanted to look like a floating mermaid - a fiery red passionate one - gliding in ruby diamonds. Morocco has that very red va-va-voom - it's passionate and spiritual». The celebration took place from August 1-3 at the Selman Marrakech hotel, with Mel B's three children playing significant roles. Her eldest daughter Phoenix, 26, walked her down the aisle, while Angel, 18, served as groomsman and Madison, 13, was bridesmaid. «That meant the world to me», she said. Fellow Spice Girl Mel C attended with boyfriend Chris Dingwall, performing an impromptu «Holler» rendition. Mel B incorporated traditional Moroccan elements, including henna decorations and ornate lantern settings.
