The Royal Moroccan Navy has successfully thwarted an irregular migration attempt off the coast of Oued El Marsa, near Tangier, intercepting a boat filled with migrants en route to Ceuta. The inflatable vessel was carrying 14 Moroccan nationals who were trying to reach Ceuta's shores. They have been transported to the port of Tangier, where they were handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie. Authorities have begun taking statements from the migrants, including the boat's captain. This incident highlights a growing trend of migrants attempting to reach Ceuta, often exploiting foggy conditions to evade detection.
