Zeus Resources Limited, an Australian company focused on uranium and metal exploration, has signed a five-year license deal with Newmont Venture Limited, a subsidiary of Newmont Corporation, the world's largest gold miner. The agreement gives Zeus access to Newmont's Morocco exploration database and regional framework study. The package includes geochemical data, sampling records, structural interpretations, mineral occurrence reports, and technical studies covering the Anti-Atlas and Central Meseta regions, known globally for their gold, base metal, and critical mineral potential. Under the deal, if Zeus acquires assets in the covered regions, Newmont will receive a 1% net smelter return royalty. Executive Director Hugh Pilgrim said the agreement positions Zeus to target areas with the greatest discovery potential. The company sees the deal as a platform for project generation in Morocco's resource-rich regions. For the record, in March, Zeus announced the acquisition of the Casablanca Antimony Project in central Morocco, which covers six exploration licenses across a 79-square-kilometer area.
