More than 47,500 tickets have already been sold for Morocco's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Niger, scheduled for September 5 at 8:00 p.m. at Rabat's Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Tuesday that by midday, 47,555 tickets had been purchased, along with 62 private skyboxes, just hours after sales opened that morning. The breakdown of sales shows 3,210 tickets for Category 1, 13,312 for Category 2, and 28,136 for Category 3. In addition, 1,863 hospitality tickets were sold, as well as 885 VIP seats and 149 VVIP seats, according to the FRMF. The federation praised Moroccan fans for their strong turnout and encouraged others to continue buying through official platforms, while respecting organizational measures to ensure the smooth running of the match. Morocco currently tops Group E with 15 points from five victories, ahead of Tanzania (2nd/9 pts) and Zambia (3rd/6 pts). Niger is in fourth place with 6 points. In total, nine African teams will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, with another earning a spot in the FIFA playoff tournament.
