Chinese tire manufacturer Guizhou Tire has announced plans to build its second overseas factory in Morocco, according to a 26 August filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The project, still at the planning stage, is part of Guizhou's strategy of «internationalisation, intelligence, green and high-end development» and follows the success of its Vietnam plant, according to specialized media reports. The company says the Morocco site would optimize global production capacity, enhance operational resilience, and strengthen risk mitigation. Guizhou confirmed that no formal agreement has yet been signed and that details on construction and investment are pending a feasibility study. The company stressed the project is still subject to approvals and cautioned that policy changes, macroeconomic conditions, or market shifts could affect its implementation.
