The 23rd edition of the L'Boulevard festival will take place from September 18 to 21 in Casablanca, featuring the participation of 37 music bands, organizers announced during a press conference on Tuesday evening. This year's edition promises a rich and diverse program, including live concerts, the iconic Tremplin L'Boulevard competition, circus and dance performances, workshops, a creative souk, and cosplay events. On this occasion, festival director Mohamed Merhari, known as Momo, said that, as always, the lineup will deliver colorful performances, blending seasoned acts with emerging groups seeking greater visibility. In addition to Moroccan artists, participating groups hail from Palestine, Niger, France, Sweden, Hungary, and Trinidad and Tobago, Merhari told MAP. «This festival aims to be a meeting place for established artists reinventing themselves, for first-time performers finding their roots, and for formats designed for both listening and encounter», he added. The concerts of this 23rd edition will take place on the R.U.C. stage, showcasing a wide array of rap/hip hop, rock/metal, fusion, and other genres. The lineup includes 7ari, Loun, Bombino, Saad Tiouly, Soukaina Fahsi, Gorod (France), Katatonia (Sweden), and Queen Omega (Trinidad and Tobago), among others. An invitation to come, to return, and to witness the evolution of what is created on stage, this is the promise of the 2025 edition: to make the program itself a pedagogy of live performance, demanding, open, and enduring.
