On Tuesday, Moroccan music resonated at the Kennedy Center in Washington during the «Sounds from Home» concert, celebrating dialogue and harmony through art. Morocco performed alongside artists from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Lebanon, and Oman, in an event organized with the Moroccan embassy and other Arab embassies, reads a press release. Ambassador Youssef Amrani, who attended the event, highlighted the Kingdom's diverse heritage, «the result of Arab, Amazigh, Andalusian and Saharan traditions, enriched today by the creativity of young artists whose repertoires fuse the authentic and the modern». He stressed that Morocco's participation reflects a «dynamic cultural diplomacy promoting the image of a modern, open Morocco, committed to peace, tolerance and solidarity». Representing Morocco, singer Nabila Maan and musician Tarik Hilal delivered a moving performance of «Ana Fnit» with the American Pops Orchestra, blending heritage and innovation in one of the evening's highlights. The concert also supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, underscoring the humanitarian dimension of cultural diplomacy.
