King Mohammed VI received Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Royal Palace in Casablanca on Tuesday, October 7. The prince, who serves as Minister of State and member of the Saudi Council of Ministers, delivered a «verbal message» from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to a statement from the Royal Cabinet. The meeting coincided with the visit of Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih to Morocco. In Rabat, Al-Falih held talks with Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour. He told the press that his visit led to the signing of a «historic» agreement aimed at promoting and mutually protecting investments between the two countries. The agreement seeks to bolster investor confidence and create a favorable framework for financing and cooperation in key sectors such as automotive manufacturing, mining, and phosphates. It is also noteworthy that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's plane landed at Marrakech Airport on October 2.
