In his message, the King expressed «deep emotion and profound sorrow upon hearing of this tragic accident.» He extended his solidarity and compassion to the Qatari leader during this difficult time, stating that he «shares His Highness's grief in the face of this immense loss.» The King also offered prayers «to the Almighty to protect His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, as well as the brotherly Qatari people, from any misfortune.» To recall, the Qatari embassy in Egypt announced on Sunday, October 12, that three Qatari diplomats lost their lives in a car accident near Sharm El-Sheikh. The diplomats were in the area to participate in indirect negotiations between a delegation from the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Israeli government, held in this Egyptian resort town.
