King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and compassion to the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, following the tragic derailment of the Gloria funicular in central Lisbon, which claimed several lives. In his message, the King said he had received the news of the accident with deep sorrow.
