The Health and Social Protection Delegation in Azilal Province has commended nurse Ikram Ouzizou for her heroic intervention in saving the lives of a mother and her twin daughters during a complicated delivery at the Zergane rural clinic, located over 2,260 meters above sea level in the Zaouiat Ahansal. According to the delegation, the nurse acted swiftly after a home birth attempt failed due to difficult terrain and poor accessibility in the mountainous region. Despite harsh weather conditions and the long, challenging journey, Ikram successfully assisted in the safe delivery of both babies and their mother at the clinic. The Health Delegation confirmed that the mother and her newborns are in good health and are receiving ongoing medical care at the facility.
