Morocco's U17 coach Nabil Baha said on Monday in Doha that his team is determined to deliver a completely different performance in their second U17 World Cup match against Portugal, following their 2–0 defeat to Japan. «We will learn the necessary lessons from the match against Japan to show a different side in our next game», Baha told the press after the Atlas Cubs' opening match in Group B. «We still have two games to play, and they're now the most important ones for us», he added, stressing the need «to analyze what went wrong against Japan, correct our mistakes, and above all, keep the players in a positive mindset». «We knew we would face three difficult games in this tournament because we're in a tough group», the national coach acknowledged, before noting that «these players have already made us proud and shown some impressive things». «Our mission now is to prepare well for the match against Portugal and go for the win», he insisted, adding that «the objective remains to advance past the first round». The Atlas Cubs will face Portugal on Thursday at Stadium No. 8 in the Aspire Zone for their second group-stage match of the tournament.
