DR ‹ › Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco's national carrier, has announced the launch of nine new direct routes in 2026, strengthening Morocco's connectivity with Europe, Africa, and the Americas. This major network extension aligns with the airline's ambition to position Casablanca as a global aviation hub, RAM said in a press release. After recently announcing flights to Los Angeles (June 2026) and Saint Petersburg (January 2026), the airline will add five new routes from Casablanca starting April 2026: Pointe-Noire (Congo), Tripoli (Libya), Beirut (Lebanon), Bilbao, and Alicante (Spain). RAM will also reinforce its Italian network with a new Casablanca–Verona route beginning 20 June 2026, complementing its seven existing destinations: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Naples, Catania, Turin, and Venice. In France, the airline will expand service with a new Casablanca–Lille route in July 2026. Alongside these openings, RAM will increase frequencies on major long-haul routes such as São Paulo, Miami, Washington, and Dubai, supported by the arrival of new long-haul aircraft offering upgraded cabins, improved comfort, and enhanced onboard connectivity. «These new routes reflect a key milestone in our development plan», said CEO Hamid Addou, noting that since 2023 the airline has added over ten aircraft, strengthened multiple frequencies, and opened nearly twenty international routes. «In 2026, we are taking another major step forward by reinforcing Morocco's global connectivity and contributing to the Kingdom's economic and tourism development». Tickets for the new flights are available for purchase from 15 December through RAM's website, call centers, commercial agencies, and partner travel agencies.
