DR ‹ › Moroccan authorities thwarted a mass attempt, Wednesday night, by around 400 migrants from sub-Saharan African countries to approach the border fence surrounding the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. Security forces intervened on the ground, dispersing the group and moving them away from the fence, with no injuries reported among those involved. According to Spanish media reports, recent days have seen a noticeable rise in attempts to enter the enclave. On Saturday night alone, around 40 people reportedly managed to cross into the city, not including those who were intercepted near the fence. The same sources noted that recent weather conditions, including rainfall and strong winds, have added pressure along the border area, alongside continued attempts to reach the enclave by sea.
