DR ‹ › Nasser Seddiqi has been unanimously appointed as the new CEO of the Casablanca Stock Exchange by its Board of Directors, which expressed full confidence in his leadership. He is set to assume his duties on January 19, 2026. According to a statement, Seddiqi brings more than 25 years of experience in financial regulation, asset management, and market governance, gained through his work at the Moroccan Capital Markets Authority (AMMC) as well as within international institutions. Prior to this appointment, he held several senior positions, most notably serving as Director of the Business Division at the AMMC, where he oversaw market activities, asset management, and issuers. Seddiqi has also played a key role in strategic initiatives such as sustainable finance and the development of the futures market. He chaired the Futures Market Coordination Body and contributed to the work of several international organizations, including IOSCO and IFREFI. He began his career in Paris at an international audit firm before gaining experience in banking and asset management. He joined the AMMC in 2009, where he went on to hold a succession of senior leadership roles.
