DR ‹ › Water inflows recorded since September 1, 2025, across Morocco's various hydraulic basins have reached 1.77 billion cubic meters, according to official data. These figures reflect the significant water resources received by the country's basins during the current hydrological season, according to Maadialna, the official online portal of the Ministry of Equipment and Water. Since December 12, 2025, the basins have received 1.348 billion cubic meters, representing nearly 76% of the total inflows recorded since the start of the season. This highlights the strong concentration of water inputs over a relatively short period compared to the rest of the season, the same source notes. Meanwhile, the volume of water discharged into the sea since December 12 has reached 80.2 million cubic meters, accounting for 5.9% of the total water received by dams. These releases, in varying proportions, were distributed across several hydraulic basins. The Sebou basin accounted for the largest share, with 29.1 million cubic meters, followed by Oum Er-Rbia (26.5 million m³), Loukkos (9.7 million m³), Tensift (7.5 million m³), Souss-Massa (3.5 million m³), Bouregreg (3 million m³), and Moulouya (0.9 million m³). Overall, the data indicate that only a limited volume of water was discharged into the sea during the period in question, Maadialna concludes.
