DR ‹ › French international striker Wissam Ben Yedder, of Tunisian descent, could soon join Hakim Ziyech at Wydad Casablanca, according to French outlet Foot Mercato. The 35-year-old forward, who has earned 19 caps with France, is reportedly looking for a move after spending just four months with Turkish second-division side Sakaryaspor. Ben Yedder has already informed club officials of his intention to leave during the winter transfer window and is said to be open to a new challenge. Sources cited by Foot Mercato indicate that he has identified Wydad Casablanca as his preferred destination. The Moroccan club currently sits at the top of the Botola standings after eight matches. Hakim Ziyech joined Wydad in October following an unsuccessful spell at Al-Duhail. Ben Yedder began his professional career in 2009 with UJA Alfortville before making his name at Sevilla and later AS Monaco, which signed him for €40 million in 2019. In 2025, he had a brief stint with Iranian side Sepahan before moving to Turkey.
