DR ‹ › The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has condemned what it described as «unacceptable behavior» by certain players and officials during the Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal, held in Rabat on Sunday night. In a statement, the continental body said it strongly denounces any inappropriate conduct during matches, particularly actions directed at the refereeing team or tournament organizers. CAF added that it is currently reviewing all available video footage related to the incident and will refer the matter to the relevant disciplinary bodies to take appropriate action against anyone found responsible. During the closing minutes of the match, the Senegalese head coach instructed his players to leave the pitch after a penalty was awarded to Morocco, before they eventually returned and the game resumed.
