DR ‹ › The National Railway Office (ONCF) has rolled out a new discount card for train travel, specifically designed to assist individuals with disabilities. This initiative, which took effect on Monday, was announced by the State Secretariat for Social Integration. The State Secretariat stated that the card enables people with disabilities, along with companions of visually impaired individuals, to enjoy a 50% reduction on train ticket prices. This move aligns with the partnership agreement signed on December 2nd between the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the State Secretariat for Social Integration, and ONCF. As of now, the State Secretariat has received 5,022 applications for the card through the online platform IDMAJ. According to the statement, 3,220 cards have been processed and printed, while 2,027 have been dispatched to orientation and assistance centers for people with disabilities, managed by the National Mutual Aid across various Moroccan provinces, for distribution to eligible recipients.
