DR ‹ › The Marrakech Police Department has arrested three individuals suspected of carrying knives and endangering public safety and property, following the circulation of a video on social media showing the alleged acts. According to security sources, investigations were launched immediately after the video surfaced, leading to the identification of the suspects and the arrest of three of them in a neighborhood of Marrakech. A search operation resulted in the seizure of a knife matching the one seen in the footage, which was found in the possession of one of the suspects. Checks conducted through the national security database revealed that one of the detainees is the subject of a nationwide arrest warrant issued by the Royal Gendarmerie in Marrakech, in connection with a separate case involving drug trafficking and psychotropic substances. The suspects have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to determine all the circumstances and details surrounding the case. Meanwhile, security services continue their investigations to locate and arrest a fourth suspect, whose identity has already been fully established.
