DR ‹ › The return of citizens who were temporarily evacuated to the city of Fnideq due to recent meteorological disturbances in the province of Larache commenced on Sunday. This initiative follows the Ministry of the Interior's announcement to implement measures for the safe and gradual return of residents previously evacuated from various territorial communities across different provinces. It is part of broader public efforts to address the aftermath of the severe weather conditions that recently hit the province of Larache. In this context, local authorities in the M'diq-Fnideq prefecture, in collaboration with security services, Civil Protection, and social and associative actors, have launched on-the-ground measures to facilitate this gradual return. The authorities are executing a meticulously planned program to transport approximately 1,000 affected individuals who had been sheltered in four centers across Fnideq, M'diq, and Martil. On the first day of the return operation, the prefecture's services deployed 15 buses to transport the families free of charge, ensuring conditions that meet safety and comfort standards, with support provided throughout the journey. The initial phase was carried out with a comprehensive humanitarian approach, ensuring the dignity, safety, and security of the beneficiaries. «Furthermore, the M'diq-Fnideq prefecture continues to facilitate the return of evacuated citizens by providing free transportation from M'diq, Fnideq, and Martil, ensuring that flood victims can safely return to Larache.»
