DR ‹ › Representing King Mohammed VI, Parliament Speaker Talbi El Alami was received in Santiago by Chile's new president, José Antonio Kast. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the official inauguration ceremony of the Chilean president. In a statement to MAP, Talbi El Alami said the audience, which was also attended by Chile's Foreign Minister, Mr. Francisco Pérez Mackenna, and Morocco's ambassador to Santiago, Kenza El Ghali, provided an opportunity to convey to President Kast the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty the King on the occasion of his assumption of office. He also emphasized Morocco's determination to work closely with Chile to strengthen the friendship between the two countries and to expand bilateral cooperation across various fields, for the benefit of both nations. King Mohammed VI had earlier sent a congratulatory message to Kast, expressing his warm wishes for the success of his mission in guiding the Chilean people toward further progress and prosperity.
