DR ‹ › Authorities in the Netherlands have placed the sister of convicted drug lord Ridouan Taghi on an international wanted list, with reports indicating she has fled to Morocco. The development was revealed by the public prosecutor on Thursday during closing arguments in the trial of Inez Weski, a Dutch criminal defense lawyer accused of participating in the criminal organization of her former client, alleged kingpin Ridouan Taghi. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service told RTL Boulevard that Nora T. is suspected of involvement in a criminal network engaged in international drug trafficking and money laundering. Nora T. had previously been arrested in December 2019 during a police operation while accompanied by her young son. She was held for two days on suspicion of money laundering but was never prosecuted. At the time, her lawyer said she denied the allegations. Dutch-Moroccan crime boss Ridouan Taghi is considered the leader of the so-called «Mocro Mafia». He was sentenced to life in prison by an Amsterdam court in the Marengo trial for ordering a series of murders and attempted killings between 2015 and 2017.
