DR DR DR ‹ › Morocco's Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita received on Friday in Rabat Leslie Mbula, special envoy of Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema, carrying a message to King Mohammed VI. Mbula praised the «excellent» and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, highlighting Morocco's stability, socio-economic progress, and development under the New Development Model and Industrial Acceleration Plan, which have positioned the Kingdom as a continental leader in the automotive and aeronautics sectors. He also reaffirmed Zambia's «unequivocal» support for Morocco's territorial integrity, including the Sahara, and expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation in digital transformation, youth empowerment, and innovation, while commending Morocco's world-class sports infrastructure. On the same day, Bourita also received Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, President of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of Congo and special envoy of President Félix Tshisekedi, who conveyed a message to the King and highlighted the «historic ties» between the two countries, as well as Morocco's consistent support for the DRC and its role as a key actor in Africa. Bourita further met with Gervais Ndirakobuca, President of the Senate of Burundi, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Morocco's partnerships across the African continent.
