With two rounds remaining in the Spanish football championship, FC Barcelona has already begun planning its summer tour and preparing for the upcoming season. Club president Joan Laporta confirmed that the team is considering playing a friendly match either in Morocco or elsewhere in Europe, according to the Catalan newspaper Sport. Having secured the Spanish league title before the end of the season, Barcelona is set to play a friendly against Vissel Kobe in Japan on July 27, marking the Japanese club's 30th anniversary. The team also plans to play two additional friendlies in South Korea. Notably, Barcelona has previously played twice on Moroccan soil. The first match took place in July 2012, when they defeated Raja Casablanca 8–0. The second was in August 2018, during the Spanish Super Cup final against Sevilla, where the Catalan side claimed a 2–1 victory.
