The investigative judge at the Ain Sebaa Court of First Instance in Casablanca has referred former Raja Casablanca Club president Mohamed Boudrika for trial while in detention. The first hearing is scheduled to take place next week. Boudrika faces multiple charges, including issuing checks without sufficient funds, fraud, forgery and use of unofficial documents, as well as the illegal acquisition and use of administrative documents. He was arrested in July 2024 at Hamburg Airport in Germany on the basis of an international arrest warrant, and was subsequently extradited to Morocco. He has been held in pre-trial detention at Oukacha Prison since April 25 of the same year. Earlier, in May 2024, the Administrative Court ordered Boudrika's removal from his role as president of the Mers Sultan District Council, citing his failure to fulfill his official duties.
