The Government Council approved a decree on Thursday, June 12, 2025, improving the professional and financial situation of engineers and architects within the Ministry of Justice. Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi presented the decree, which grants technical and engineering staff the same allowances provided to court registry personnel under existing regulations. The measure recognizes engineers' role in justice sector reforms, including digital transformation of the judicial system, construction, renovation and equipment of courts, and maintenance of judicial infrastructure. Engineers support modernization projects within Morocco's judicial administration. The decree aligns their compensation with regulatory frameworks applied to other ministry personnel. The Ministry of Justice states this decision promotes professional equity and strengthens staff stability and motivation. The initiative forms part of the comprehensive reform process in the Kingdom's judicial system under the principle «Justice at the service of the citizen». The decree continues efforts to modernize judicial administration and improve human resources management within the ministry.
