The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) is conducting a European roadshow from June 16-23 under the theme «Morocco, Land of Football» to promote the kingdom ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The tour covers five major European capitals: Madrid, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Milan. The initiative aims to strengthen Morocco's international appeal through sports and cultural promotion as the country prepares to host CAN 2025, reads a press release. «Morocco is preparing to welcome Africa. Through this roadshow, we aim to tell a collective story of a country oriented towards the future, proud of its roots, and passionate about football», said Achraf Fayda, ONMT Director General. The roadshow operates under a strategic agreement signed in April between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and ONMT, targeting Morocco's positioning as a global football and tourism reference by 2030. Each stop will engage over 100 travel agents and tour operators, alongside African tourism specialists and media representatives, emphasizing South-South cooperation. The events feature multisensory experiences showcasing Morocco's tourism assets and meetings with sports figures. The campaign targets tourism and sports professionals, media, and content creators as part of ONMT's broader strategy for CAN 2025.
