The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), in collaboration with the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), have recently hosted an exclusive familiarization (FAM) trip to strengthen tourism ties with India. The eight-day journey introduced a delegation of Indian travel agents, media professionals, and influencers to Morocco's rich cultural heritage, luxury offerings, and diverse tourism experiences. The itinerary featured high-speed Al Boraq train travel and stays at world-class hotels including the Four Seasons Casablanca, Fairmont Tazi Palace in Tangier, and the Oberoi Marrakech. This immersive program was designed to showcase Morocco's potential as a premier destination for Indian travelers seeking cultural immersion, historical exploration, and luxury getaways. A dedicated B2B workshop in Marrakech provided a platform for Moroccan tourism stakeholders to connect with Indian agents and discuss future collaborations. The trip marks a key step in Morocco's efforts to diversify its tourism markets and attract Indian travelers, a growing segment in global tourism.
