On Sunday, Gabriela Rodriguez De Bukele, the First Lady of the Republic of El Salvador, touched down in Salé for an official visit to Morocco. Her arrival at Rabat-Salé airport was marked by a warm reception from Princess Lalla Asmaa. Following a review of the Auxiliary Forces' honor guard, Lalla Asmaa and the First Lady were welcomed by key regional figures, including Mohamed Yacoubi, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region and governor of the Rabat prefecture; Rachid El Abdi, president of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region; and Omar Touimi, governor of the Salé prefecture. Also present to greet them were Noureddine Lazrek, president of the Salé Prefectural Council; Omar Sentissi, president of the Salé Communal Council; Karim Essakalli, deputy president of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation; and Mohammed Methqal, ambassador and director-general of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation. Princess Lalla Asmaa then met with Alejandra Samour Santillana, chargé d'affaires at the Salvadoran embassy in Morocco, along with embassy staff and members of the First Lady's delegation. In keeping with Moroccan tradition, Gabriela Rodriguez De Bukele was invited to partake in a ceremonial offering of milk and dates. The visit continued as the convoy made its way to the residence of Gabriela Rodriguez De Bukele.
