Tragedy struck on Monday evening when a serious traffic accident claimed the lives of a driver and a young child at Ouad Aliane, on the road between Tangier and Ksar Sghir. The crash involved a violent collision between a worker transport vehicle and two light vehicles, as reported by a local source. The accident left 19 others injured, with varying degrees of severity. Six individuals are in critical condition and were rushed to the Mohamed V Regional Hospital in Tangier, while the deceased were taken to the morgue. Security services have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the accident, which is suspected to have resulted from excessive speed and overtaking on a continuous line, according to the same source.
