The Moroccan women's futsal team is in Brazil from August 18 to 25, 2025, to compete in the third edition of the Xanxerê International Tournament. This friendly competition serves as a crucial part of their preparations for the first-ever Women's Futsal World Cup, set to take place from November 21 to December 7, 2025, in the Philippines, as announced by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). As the reigning African champions, Morocco is set to face Colombia in their opening friendly match on Wednesday, August 20. The following day, they will challenge the host nation, Brazil, before concluding their series of matches against Guatemala on Friday, according to the federation. For this preparatory phase, national coach Adil Sayeh has primarily relied on talent from local clubs. Out of the sixteen players selected, only Jasmine Damraoui plays internationally, representing Besançon Académie Futsal in France.
