Princess Lalla Salma visited the Hassan II University Hospital Center in Fez on the evening of Tuesday, September 16, in her capacity as president of the Lalla Salma Foundation for the Fight Against Cancer, Yabiladi has learned from its sources. The princess began her visit at the «Dar Al-Hayat» facility, which hosts patients and their families traveling from distant areas for treatment. With a capacity of 48 beds, it provides a range of essential amenities, including a lounge, waiting rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, administrative offices, and a meeting room. She then proceeded to the Hematology and Oncology Center for adults and children, where she met with several patients and their families, distributing gifts to children with cancer. The center is one of Morocco's leading specialized facilities, housing a pediatric and adult oncology unit with 36 beds, a day hospital equipped with 22 chemotherapy chairs, a bone marrow transplant unit with six beds, and 12 consultation rooms.
