Moroccan-Belgian Younes «El Magico» El Ballouti, the youngest brother of recently extradited drug lord Othman El Ballouti, has been jailed in Casablanca after Moroccan police arrested him in a Tangier shisha lounge. According to Belgian media, his arrest was linked to the use of a forged passport to travel discreetly. Unlike his brother, who was extradited from Dubai earlier this year, Younes had fled to Morocco beforehand. With multiple convictions in Belgium for international cocaine smuggling, he still has years left to serve. Originally from Al Hoceima, El Ballouti's family, described by Antwerp's mayor as one of the wealthiest in the city's underworld, has been linked to violent rivalries and account settling in Belgium. The big brother Othman El Ballouti was sentenced in absentia to seven years in Belgium and now faces a 20-year prison following extradition.
