The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has extended the media accreditation window for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 until Monday, October 20, citing unprecedented global demand. CAF said on Friday, October 10, that it had received an exceptionally high number of requests from media outlets worldwide, prompting the extension and the deployment of additional staff to assist applicants facing technical difficulties during the accreditation process. A dedicated media services planning desk has also been established at CAF's Rabat office, which will serve as the tournament's main media centre. Applicants are required to hold a valid CAF Media Channel account, represent a recognised media outlet, and provide either a press card or an official letter of assignment, along with a valid passport. Media professionals based in Morocco may use a national ID card as an exception. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be automatically rejected. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with detailed guidelines in due course. Afcon is set to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
