Last Monday morning, a headless body was discovered washed ashore on Diza beach in Martil. The remains are suspected to belong to an irregular migrant of Algerian nationality, as reported by media sources. The body was taken to the morgue at Sania Ramel Regional Hospital in Tetouan. Meanwhile, local and security authorities have initiated an investigation to identify the victim, unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident, and determine the true cause of death. Preliminary findings indicate that the deceased was wearing swimwear, which suggests he may have attempted to swim to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta before tragically perishing at sea.
