The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, has urged the players of Morocco's U17 national team, who will compete in the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar from November 3 to 27, to give their all in pursuit of the title. Speaking during a meeting with the team on Monday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, Lekjaa assured the players and technical staff that the Federation would provide all necessary resources to help them succeed. The FRMF president encouraged the young Atlas Cubs not to limit their ambitions, emphasizing the crucial role of mental strength in achieving great results. He reminded them that the same mindset has driven the success of other national teams in recent years, from the senior Atlas Lions and the futsal team to the Olympic squad, the U20 world champions, and the U17s themselves. For his part, head coach Nabil Baha stated that the team's goal is to follow in the footsteps of the U20 champions and compete with the same spirit and discipline shown during the Africa Cup of Nations, despite the challenges ahead. As part of their World Cup preparations, the U17 squad will travel to the United Arab Emirates for a training camp from October 21 to 30, where they will play two friendly matches, against Venezuela on October 25 and Switzerland on October 29.
