DR ‹ › Morocco is preparing to host the 9th Joint Ministerial Meeting with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), an initiative proposed by the Gulf states that underscores the kingdom's central role in strengthening bilateral relations. The announcement was made during the 8th Joint Ministerial Meeting between Morocco and the GCC, held on Thursday via videoconference. The meeting brought together Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad; Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council; as well as ministers and representatives from the council's member states. On this occasion, the foreign ministers of the GCC praised the depth of relations between Morocco and the Gulf countries, as well as the kingdom's efforts to strengthen Arab solidarity and elevate the strategic partnership to its highest level. Morocco's hosting of the upcoming meeting also reflects the confidence that Gulf countries place in the kingdom under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. It further illustrates the strong bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two sides, as well as their shared commitment to maintaining consultation and coordination on issues of common interest.
