The 7th edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup concluded on Sunday in Fez with the victory of Morocco's Ventec team, crowned world champions after defeating their Omani counterparts in the final. The three-day tournament brought together corporate teams from around the world. This year's edition, held for the first time on the African continent, saw Mali claim third place, while England finished fourth, marking its best performance in the history of the competition. In a statement to MAP, Albert Zbily, President of the International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO), praised the high level of play and the intensity of the matches, which featured 23 teams representing 20 countries. He expressed the federation's full satisfaction with how this edition unfolded in Morocco. Baizakh Abdelhak, coach of the Ventec team, said he was delighted with this world title, noting that it adds to the team's already impressive record. Ventec previously won the Moroccan Corporate Championship in 2023, 2024, and 2025. He described the world title as a major milestone in the team's journey and extended his gratitude to supporters and the company's management for their continued backing. Looking ahead, Abdelhak said the team's goal is to maintain group cohesion and continue participating in local competitions. He added that the players will keep training to represent Ventec in the best possible way, emphasizing that this victory reflects the company's ambition to strive for success in every competition. The closing ceremony celebrated the winning teams and the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that marked the event.
