Dutch police announced on Monday the arrest of a minor in Sittard, in the south of the Netherlands, on suspicion of involvement in a case linked to counterterrorism, extremism, and radicalization (CTER). The arrest was made possible thanks to intelligence provided by Morocco's General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST). In a statement, Dutch authorities confirmed that the suspect was identified through information shared by Moroccan security services, as part of ongoing and active cooperation between the two countries. The minor has been taken into custody pending further investigation. Due to the sensitivity of the case and the ongoing inquiry, police said no additional details could be released at this time. Officials added that the investigation is still in its early stages, and that further legal action or additional arrests cannot be ruled out.
