This represents an impressive increase of over 9% compared to 2023's 822 billion dirhams. Industrial production also saw a significant boost, rising by 12% to reach 842 billion dirhams. The industrial added value was reported at 240 billion dirhams, marking an 11% increase. The event organizers highlighted a notable advancement, with 51% of the industry classified as high and medium-high technology in 2024, up from 39% in 2014. Furthermore, total industrial employment reached 1,038,133 positions, with 42,714 net new jobs created last year. Under the theme «Made in Morocco: a guarantee of quality and competitiveness, and a lever for integrated territorial development», this third edition was presided over by Aziz Akhannouch, head of government, alongside Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Chakib Alj, president of CGEM. The event served as a platform to «celebrate the national industry and highlight the advances made in 2024». The previous year was marked by significant economic progress, reflecting «the maturity of the national productive fabric and its resilience in the face of global cyclical challenges», as proudly noted by the organizers. According to a statement, this edition aimed to «mobilize all actors within the industrial ecosystem around the strategic role of Made in Morocco, a true driver of industrial development, territorial integration, and innovative entrepreneurship». It also emphasized the potential of the national industry, «while promoting the Moroccan brand and local expertise». A key highlight was the launch of the «Made in Morocco» label, a certification of distinction. Concurrently, a framework partnership agreement was established between the ministries of Industry and Trade, Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, the CGEM, and IMANOR. The goal is to create «a strategic collaboration framework between institutional and economic actors for the promotion of this label». Additionally, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, along with the delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance responsible for the budget, Morocco SME, and the CGEM signed an amendment to the agreement concerning the industrial innovation support programs «TATWIR-R&D AND INNOVATION». This renewal, extending over three years (2026-2028), includes start-ups and gaming companies among the beneficiaries of the Innovation Support Fund. The additional funding amounts to 900 million dirhams.
