The national coach, Walid Regragui, has enlisted Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal from the French club Stade Rennais in preparation for the Atlas Lions' forthcoming friendly matches, as announced by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) on Sunday. Morocco is set to face Mozambique and Uganda in friendly encounters on November 14 and 18, respectively, at the Grand Stade de Tanger, with both matches scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM. These games are part of the team's preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025. On Friday, Regragui revealed a 27-player squad for these matches. The lineup is particularly noteworthy for the return of defender Romain Saïss, along with forwards Soufiane Rahimi and Sofiane Diop. It also marks the first call-up for PSV Eindhoven's Anass Salah-Eddine, while Achraf Hakimi is notably absent due to injury. In the upcoming AFCON, Morocco will compete in Group A alongside Comoros, Mali, and Zambia.
