The Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Italy (CCMI) will be officially inaugurated on November 19 at Palazzo Santa Chiara in Rome, marking a new milestone in the growing economic partnership between Morocco and Italy. The ceremony, chaired by Moroccan business leader Marouan El Mansoub, will bring together high-level Moroccan and Italian officials, including Ambassador Youssef Balla, Investment Minister Karim Zidane, Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour, Mohammed Belhai from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ali Seddiki, head of AMDIE. Representatives from the Italian Chamber of Deputies and Senate are also expected to attend. According to El Mansoub, «the creation of the CCMI represents a strategic platform for consolidating economic relations and creating a lasting bridge between the Moroccan and Italian business communities». The CCMI aims to serve as a key partner for Moroccan and Italian companies seeking to develop commercial synergies, investments, and cooperation projects across sectors such as industry, tourism, renewable energy, innovation, and agri-food, according to a press release from the chamber. El Mansoub will serve as President of the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Italy. A business and project development consultant active in Morocco, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, he is also a UN delegate representing an international organization with consultative status to ECOSOC.
