Puma has officially unveiled ITRI, meaning «star» in Tamazight, the official match ball for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025. The ball, blending Moroccan artistry with cutting-edge performance technology, was revealed Monday through a promotional video and photos shared on Instagram. Named after the star on Morocco's flag, ITRI draws inspiration from traditional zellij mosaics, a centuries-old craft symbolizing unity, rhythm, and passion across Africa. Its design features geometric star formations, petal motifs, and flowing «movement» patterns in Morocco's red and green colors. Built with Puma's Orbita 6 technology, ITRI promises elite precision, durability, and consistency for Africa's grandest football stage. «Designed to carry the dreams of a continent» and «built for the biggest stage in African football», wrote Puma, describing ITRI. «It's been a privilege to collaborate with Puma on something that unites every nation at the tournament», said CAF Creative Development Manager Mohamed Ghonemi. Puma's Peter Dangl added that ITRI embodies «the spirit of African football and Moroccan craftsmanship». ITRI will make its debut on December 21, during the tournament's opening match in Rabat, and is now available for purchase in select markets.
