Snowfall is anticipated at altitudes starting from 1700 meters, accompanied by intense local rains that could turn stormy, from Sunday through Monday across several Moroccan provinces, as reported by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM). According to an orange-level weather alert issued by the DGM, snow accumulation ranging from 20 to 30 cm is expected between Sunday at noon and Monday at 9:00 AM in the provinces of Al Haouz and Azilal. The provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Midelt, Ouarzazate, Sefrou, and Tinghir are also forecasted to receive snowfall between 10 and 15 cm during the same timeframe. In addition, heavy localized rainfall, potentially stormy and measuring between 25 and 35 mm, is predicted to impact the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Tetouan, Larache, and Kenitra on Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, according to the same source.
