Morocco has reached a significant milestone in tourism, welcoming 18 million visitors by the end of November 2025. This achievement sets a new record, surpassing the total number of tourists for the entire year of 2024 by over 600,000. The sector experienced an impressive growth of 13.5% compared to the same period last year. This surge underscores the increasing vitality of Morocco's tourism industry, driven by strategic investments outlined in the 2023-2026 roadmap. Key initiatives include improvements in air connectivity, enhanced international promotional efforts, and the development and diversification of tourism offerings. In response to these results, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatima Zahra Ammor, stated that these achievements highlight the significant strides Morocco has made in recent years under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. She emphasized the exceptional potential of Morocco as a destination and noted that the sector is poised for a strong finish to the year, particularly with the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which is anticipated to make December an extraordinary month.
