DR ‹ › A pivotal agreement was signed on Monday in Rabat, integrating the Interministerial Delegation for Human Rights (DIDH) into the National Information Access Portal (PNDAI), under the stewardship of the Information Access Commission (CDAI). The accord, endorsed by Mohammed El Habib Belkouch, the Interministerial Delegate for Human Rights, and Omar Seghrouchni, the president of the CDAI, aligns with the commission's mission to uphold the right to information. It underscores efforts to promote awareness and facilitate access through effective mechanisms. During the signing ceremony, El Habib Belkouch highlighted that this partnership is a significant step in bolstering citizens' access to information. He emphasized that the agreement fulfills Morocco's commitments and showcases the country's strides in public policy related to human rights. Omar Seghrouchni remarked that the agreement aims to unify the efforts of all institutions covered by Article 2 of Law 31.13, concerning the right of access to information. The goal is to leverage a platform with a cohesive vision for information accessibility. The PNDAI is a digital platform designed to enable citizens and legally residing foreign nationals in Morocco to submit and track requests for information access and related complaints, in line with the stipulations of Law 31.13.
