DR ‹ › Morocco's General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced that snowfall and thundery showers are expected in several parts of the country starting today, Wednesday. In an orange-level weather alert, the DGM said snowfall is forecast in areas above 1,700 meters, with accumulations ranging between 10 and 20 centimeters. The affected provinces include Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, and Midelt. The snowfall is expected from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The same alert also warns of thundery rain showers, with rainfall totals estimated between 20 and 30 millimeters, in the provinces and prefectures of Salé, Kenitra, Khemisset, Rabat, M'diq-Fnideq, Tangier-Assilah, Tetouan, Larache, and Fahs-Anjra. These weather conditions are expected from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the DGM.
