On Wednesday, she shared snippets from her desert getaway, posing against the golden sand dunes of the Sahara. Madonna also visited the film studios in Ouarzazate, notably the Ancient Egypt section of the museum, a setting that has served as the backdrop for iconic films such as The Mummy. Her affection for the country was clear in her caption: «Morocco, I can't let go of you». Madonna's choice of Morocco for her winter getaway is no coincidence. A longtime admirer of the country, the Queen of Pop previously celebrated her 60th birthday in Marrakech in 2018, hosting a lavish party attended by close friends and family.
